Peds ED Volume: 31,000The separate Pediatric Emergency Center (PEC) is staffed by pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric physicians with an admission rate of approximately 19%Saint Francis hosts the only Children’s Hospital in the regionThe PEC has 23 treatment rooms that include two resuscitation rooms, 16 general medical monitored rooms, and five fast-track monitored bays.
