The Platform Strategy, Monetization and Services- Payments team at PlayStation is responsible for building and scaling payment products, modernizing the platform, driving improvements in payment processing, while maintaining compliance across all platforms.Role Description:As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and intuitive ways to pay while delivering value to customers. You’ll leverage technology and data driven decision-making to deeply understand our customers, drive business impact, and improve the PlayStation experience.You will:Define the product vision and drive the roadmap for our productsInternalize and represent Voice of The Customer throughout the product lifecycleCollect and measure key product metrics against goals to inform success of each release and plan iterations accordinglyTranslate market trends into a compelling product direction and visionDrive end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic and complex cross-regional, cross-functional initiatives with multi-level dependencies.Collaborate with development teams and program management to develop full program plans including timelines, dependencies, risk factors, success criteria, and outcomes, while keeping them energized and focused on delivering priority programs.Partner closely with Program Management, Engineering, UX, and Senior Leadership to drive programs strategicallyUnderstand strategy, objectives, priority and goals of our team and those belonging to partner teams and stakeholdersEnsure clear communication for requirements, escalation of issues and challenges to leadership, relevant partners, and team membersLead continuous improvement efforts to optimize productivityBuild a strong cohesive product team and create a fun and collaborative environment that cultivates creativity, innovation, and learningAbout You:5+ years of product management experience with software development and delivery at scaleBachelor’s degree, technical education and/or work experience in the technical domainConsistent track record of delivering products to market, collecting and incorporating user feedback into future iterationsDemonstrated technical proficiency and an ability to understand technology, designs, challenges and risksProven understanding of software lifecycle, release processes, and iterative development practicesExperience creating go-to-market strategies and driving go/no-go release decisionsExpertise in driving software development programs that involve integrating work of multiple technology (server and client) teams from inception to delivery to internal / external customersExperience in leading complex, business-critical programs with dependencies across multiple teams to include Program Management, User Experience, Legal, Marketing, Finance and other business teamsExperience creating and delivering executive-level summary reports and presentationsExcellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills across all levelsExperience in initiating and driving process improvementsExcel in conflict resolution, collaboration, and people managementExpertise with collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, ProdPad, Trello, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams, etc.)Nice to have:Experience in a high-transaction network-based services, video gaming industry, or social mediaDomain expertise in one or more of the following areas: payment processing, digital payments, video gaming, social, data platforms, trust & safety, monetization, digital commerce, partner management, portfolio management, process implementation, mobile, and/or web developmentExperience working with globally-distributed teams and multicultural working environmentsUnderstanding of Japanese language and cultureHands on experience with experimentation, A/B testing and leveraging results to iteratePassionate about Video Gaming#LI-LF1
