Job DescriptionDirective Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO, Performance Creative, and Video to our clients by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies that allow our clients to hit their SQL targets, every time.We are searching for an innovative Head of Marketing to lead our marketing team, and drive leads from content marketing, events, partnerships, and paid media channels. This role will elevate our brand’s position, and generate $17M+ worth of new business bookings in 2024. This role is pivotal in breaking into CMOs at global tech companies and driving significant brand elevation through innovative campaigns.As the Head of Marketing, you will lead the marketing department in achieving its objectives to increase the agency’s visibility, promote its services, and drive growth. The ideal candidate should have a track record of successfully leading and motivating a remote team, developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns, and have a deep understanding of the SaaS industry.If you are a highly motivated and passionate marketing professional with a creative edge for marketing to SaaS and technology companies, we encourage you to apply for this exciting leadership opportunity to be a part of our dynamic team!Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute an effective marketing strategy that drives growth and revenue, including brand awareness, lead generation, and client acquisition.Implement and oversee innovative marketing campaigns, including advertising on paid social + search, content marketing, organic social media, email marketing, and events, with a strong emphasis on community engagement and partnerships.Generate $17M+ in new marketing-sourced business within the technology sector by collaborating with the sales team and establishing strong relationships with marketing leaders at global SaaS companies.Lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering an environment of innovation, eagerness, and hunger for change.Manage the agency’s well-funded marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to maximize growth efficiency and ROI on a global scale. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Directive's compensation practices, job related skills, and depth of experience.Work Environment RequirementsAs a remote-first company, you’ll have the ability to work from anywhere in the US, with the option to enjoy our state-of-the-art offices in Irvine, California. For some positions, as posted, we will accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. For global locations, you must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in that country.This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom) and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity tools as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication, must have reliable internet access, and a professional background.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
