You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations.Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goals.Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers.Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses.Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast.Qualifications:
Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office.Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills.We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required.5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required.Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales through lead-generation and closing.Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 yearly
