The
Director, Corporate Communications,
reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, will be at the center of our financial storytelling efforts, advancing compelling narratives that position EA as leading the future of entertainment, instilling confidence in our long-term business strategy.
This position will strategically partner with our CFO and work closely with key business leaders to enhance all aspects of our Finance and Investor Relations communications program.
You will have at least ten (10) years of experience and be someone who has a proven track record of building influence and driving outcomes through collaboration and partnership.
Experience in technology, media, gaming or entertainment sectors is a plus, but not required.
You will be a onsite/hybrid in Redwood City, CA. No additional locations are being considered at this time.
Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of EA's Financial Communications program, partnering closely with CFO, VP of Investor Relations, Office of the CFO, FP&A and Legal teams to drive alignment.
Provide strategic communication counsel to CFO in service of corporate visibility plans and programs, scoping, maintaining and executing comprehensive media relations, external speaking, and social media, and internal communications work.
Lead communications and media relations work around company quarterly earnings process, inclusive of internal and external strategy and execution.
Support ongoing financial and business storytelling in, around, and beyond earnings, through owned channels and other integrated communications efforts.
Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key business media to advance company strategic business narrative.
Maintain integrated efforts across Finance teams, Corporate Communications, EA SPORTS, EA ENTERTAINMENT, Franchise and Studio Communications leaders to ensure aligned goals, communications strategies, narratives that mutually support EA corporate and franchise business goals.
Qualifications:
Corporate financial communications experience, supporting important communications elements of earnings process and other related investor activities.
Expert understanding of corporate financial process, SEC and RegFD requirements.
Deep knowledge and understanding of media landscape with track record of driving coverage through existing business media and stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrated experience working with and influencing executive teams.
Experience developing and executing comprehensive C-level executive communication plans and programs.
Proven track record working cross-functionally within globally matrixed organizations, driving alignment and outcomes with internal business partners and teams.
Experience managing issues, partnering with important internal teams to mitigate business and reputation risks with media and investor community.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
$170,500 - $259,300 USD Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
