DIR level hire with 8+ years corporate access or relevant experience. Working as part of the Global Access Strategies Team, closely with the Global Banking and Research/Sales Advisory Teams. We are looking for candidates with excellent written and verbal communication skills who are willing and able to work in a fast paced time pressured environment.
The PCA Product Manager manages a team of professionals based in North America, Europe and North Asia. The job requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of the different stages of the capital markets cycle, financial systems, theories and practices relevant to a function as well as practical experience of multiple business cycles. In-depth knowledge of the industry and direct competitors' products/services is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business.
To work as part of Citi's Access Strategies Teams to originate and organise Non Deal Roadshows, Conferences, Bespoke and Group Trips; build client relationships; market and sign up clients to our global events. Build strong relationships with Investor Relations. Our products target specific institutional clients to help increase our ranking within the institution.
Responsibilities include:
1. Driving all corporate access offerings: conferences, non-deal roadshows, group and bespoke investor trips, corporate lunches and any bespoke requests;
2. Working with the wider Access Strategies team globally pitching roadshows and more discreet opportunities to IROs and CFOs;
3. Building strong direct relationships with companies & investors in order to provide value added insight to help corporates effectively market their story and encourage greater corporate access flow through Citi;
4. Working with sales to identify the right investor targets; responsible for filling schedules and reacting to last minute changes;
5. Working with sales to ensure there is higher quality feedback product delivered to the corporate clients post the Citi sponsored roadshows;
6. Leverage and develop a strong corporate network
Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the wider Access Strategies, Advisory and Markets businesses, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/ or area of expertise.
PCA specific responsibilities:Manages the interaction between Citi's private company clients and Citi's institutional investor clientsResponsible for managing the entire PCA team, recruiting and setting the strategy for the Origination and Execution personnelWorks closely with the Capital Markets and Banking sectors, and the Regional Head of Sales to set the client strategy and ensure that the Access is associated with the advisory themes being consumed by institutional clientsMaintains direct relationship and regular liaison with CMO management regarding corporate targetingWorks with Legal and Compliance to set the compliance tone for the teamOwns and controls the budgeting process with Business Management and the wider Access Strategies teamProvides direction to the Origination team with regard to the corporate pitching strategyWorks with sales account captains across equities and fixed income to prioritize institutional clients and their access requirementsKeeps abreast of regulatory changes and developing rulesAssumes management activities such as recruitment, internships, talent development and promotion, with a focus on the Firm's diversity initiativesDevelops and executes investor targeting strategies for corporations that are covered in Research and/or the Investment BankManages customized due diligence programs for some of the firm's largest institutional accounts.Drives definition and strategy of the product offering, ensuring Citi grows its position in the marketFull management responsibility for the PCA team, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approvalEnhances product to ensure Citi's offering is highly competitive in terms of capability and client experience vs competitor productsOwns and leads initiatives to consistently deliver a leading product and service propositionParticipates in the further enhancement and monitoring of the business risk and controls frameworkDrives product innovation to i long-term product directionMaintains industry presence though industry groups, associations and forumsManages senior client engagement and relationshipsCommunicates business updates to the wider Investor Services and Markets and Securities business, and Banking and functional areasMonitors service indicators to ensure client satisfactionFunctions as an integral member of the functional leadership team within a country/site location, job family, and/or line of businessWorks in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructureBuilds a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethicsAppropriately assesses risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputationAdheres to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities ServicesAdheres to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicatedObtains and maintains all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframeAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:
