Responsibilities:Serve as physician extender in the clinic settingEvaluate patients in the clinic settingDocument evaluations in a timely mannerOrder medications and tests as per guidelines and protocolsFollow-up on tests and consultsSchedule clinical studies as per guidelines and protocolsCoordinate referrals/consultsHandle MKO messages, results, CC charts, telephone encounters and surgical risk assessments as needed within scope of practice and as directed by the supervising physician
Qualifications:Graduate from an Accredited School of Physician Assistant Studies or Master's in Nursing.Licensed in the State of Texas.Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.
