Job SummaryAs a Senior Financial Analyst on the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will contribute to driving company growth and optimal financial outcomes. The Senior Financial Analyst plays an important part in the company's short-term and long-term forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. In addition to corporate finance responsibilities, the Senior Financial Analyst will use their financial and data analysis skills to look for patterns in healthcare tech data which in turn impacts forecasting. This is a visible role for a self-motivated individual where you will collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPerformance Measurement - Participate in the design & tracking of key performance indicators, creating budget vs. actual flux analyses, financial statement analysis, operating expense analysis, identifying trends / business drivers, & internal benchmarking
Financial Reporting - Create ongoing management reporting for Executives / Board of Directors / internal stakeholders; Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks, ascertain the impact to forward looking projections and effectively communicate these finding to senior leadership.
Budgeting / Forecasting / Planning - Provide analytical and business support for Director of FP&A including financial statement analysis, gross margin analysis, business performance commentary, forecasting, trend identification, and strategic planning.
Financial Data Analytics - Conduct hypothesis-driven data analysis in large datasets to find deeper drivers for financial forecasting and to answer the "why" behind financial performance.
Financial Systems - Automate, innovate, and document key processes in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project and implement solutions that conform to best practices that drive efficiency.
Ad-Hoc Analyses/Investment Decision Support - Serve as Finance subject matter resource on key projects, perform Capital Budgeting evaluations (NPV, ROI, IRR).
QualificationsBasic Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance or related subject
5+ years of experience in related, progressive roles within corporate finance / FP&A & investment banking
Advanced Excel skills
Working knowledge of one or more of these business intelligence technologies, tools, scripting languages - Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL queries, Tableau
Experience developing dynamic financial and operational models
Ability to evaluate financial data and identify business trends
Ability to work with large datasets
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Strategic thinking and organizational skills
Proven analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree such as an MBA

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $96,100 - $117,500 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.Benefits include, but are not limited to, comprehensive healthcare (including infertility coverage), generous paid time off including paid childbirth and parental leave and mental health days, pet insurance, and 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting.
