As a General Manager of Concessions, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our hourly team members and Concessions managers to provide a warm welcome and delicious food to our guests. The ideal candidate will be an experienced operations leader who is focused on people and quality standards.Detailed ResponsibilitiesEnsuring all stations are set up and ready for eventsSupporting the recruitment and training of team members in our standards and proceduresSupervising operations during the event and troubleshooting where neededWorking with colleagues to continuously improve operational performanceProactively engaging in processes for loss preventionWorking primarily in the concessions department, this role will also support the premium department as neededCompleting point of sale updates and regular maintenance checksEnsuring the timely implementation and communication of promotionsManaging loss prevention activities including managing cash drops/collection, completing cash variance logs, and overseeing the nightly Goods Out of Stock (GOS) procedureWorking in partnership with other departments to ensure accurate completion of the requisition processWorking with the culinary and purchasing team to ensure regular updates to the concessions theoretical matrix to ensure accurate theoretical margin calculationsManaging gratis sheet process to ensure accurate tracking of any comped itemsEnsuring compliance with all Payment Card Information rulesImplementing concessions production sheet to ensure accurate production and minimal wastageConducting corrective action with team membersCompletion of monthly beverage wastage reportRegular equipment maintenance, e.g. beer line cleaningRe-stocking of concessions and bars to maximize event readinessEnsuring all appropriate alcohol service signage is placed and that Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols are followedCompletion and processing of alcohol incident logs to identify recurring issues or trendsSupporting recruitment activities for team members and NFPsHolding pre-shift meetings to set the tone for eventsManaging location 'Keys to the Future' activities to develop future leadersSupport team member orientation training to ensure all hourly team membersNPO Group management and communicationOverseeing service standards during events to ensure a high level of the guest experienceEnsuring accurate end of month inventory completionManaging product transfers and requisition sheets to accurately track products during eventsManaging and resolving guest complaintsManaging team member incidents/accidents and following all required reporting proceduresCompleting a monthly department safety inspectionMonthly safety training conducted for team membersManaging team member scheduling in line with demand forecastsVerifying payroll, entering gratuitiesSubcontractor communications - ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and submitted, scheduled properly, staffing has completed all required pieces of training, etc.Completing events walks of the buildingSupporting other properties and departments as demanded by the businessOther duties/responsibilities as assignedJob Requirements3+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational positionBachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferredHigh level of computer literacyPassion for hospitality, food, and retailExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsCurious about Life at Levy?
