Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced
Solution Architect
to join our client, a prominent federal government corporation, responsible for ensuring the timely payment of principal and interest on mortgage-backed securities (MBSs) issued by approved lenders. This role involves architecting, designing, and implementing solutions that support the mortgage, lending, and housing sectors, while ensuring efficient data governance, ETL processes, and robust database structures.
Key Responsibilities :
Architect, design, and oversee end-to-end solutions for finance, lending, mortgage, and housing-related projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable, and secure systems that align with federal housing programs.
Lead the data architecture efforts, focusing on databases, ETL processes, and data governance to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Implement best practices in solution architecture and data management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct technical assessments and develop detailed solution designs, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
Work closely with stakeholders, including federal government partners, to gather requirements and propose solutions that align with business objectives.
Manage and mentor teams of developers, data engineers, and other technical staff to implement solutions successfully.
Required Skills :
Solution Architecting : Minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing and architecting solutions, preferably in the finance, lending, or mortgage sectors.
Domain Expertise : Strong knowledge of mortgage, lending, and federal housing programs, such as FHA, VA, and USDA.
Data Architecture : In-depth experience in designing and managing databases, data governance frameworks, and ETL processes.
Technical Proficiency : Expertise in various technologies and platforms used in finance and housing, including cloud platforms, data warehousing, and analytics tools.
Data Governance : Experience implementing and managing data governance policies, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.
Database Management : Proven experience with databases and ETL tools, ensuring the efficient flow of data across systems.
Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking : Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex systems and propose efficient solutions.
Collaboration & Communication : Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with stakeholders, federal clients, and cross-functional teams in a hybrid working environment.
Regulatory Compliance : Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to federal housing programs and financial systems.
Preferred Skills :
Cloud Architecture : Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Technical Certifications : Relevant certifications in Solution Architecture, Data Management, or Cloud Platforms.
Leadership & Mentoring : Experience leading technical teams, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
