Join Takeda as a Director, Market Access and Channel Strategy, US Neuroscience out of our Cambridge/Lexington, MA office. You will be responsible for value story development, payer/PBM contracting strategy, pricing, specialty pharmacy and distribution plans, and payer/channel marketing resources for in-line and pipeline products. You will also develop and oversee sustainable US market access and channel strategies that will allow patients to gain access to Takeda's existing and future products within the Neuroscience BU's (NSBU's) products.How you will contribute:

Develops and oversees sustainable US market access and channel strategies that will allow patients to gain access to Takeda's existing and future products within the Neuroscience BU's (NSBU's) products, including TAK-861 and future Orexin Agonists.Responsible for value story development, payer/PBM contracting strategy, pricing, specialty pharmacy and distribution plans, and payer/channel marketing resources for in-line and pipeline products.Ensures close collaboration with other Patient and Market Access colleagues along with Medical, HEOR, Marketing, Finance, Analytics and Sales colleagues to capture relevant payer insights, identify data gaps, and develop compelling value propositions for field-based teams.Understands reimbursement landscape and incorporates it into market access & pricing strategy.Collaborates with HEOR in the development of payer evidence needs and ensures it is integrated into the Medical/HEOR evidence plan.Manages and executes payer and channel specific marketing plans to achieve patient and business objectives.Aligns organization on metrics to assess the impact of key market access strategies and tactics.Contributes to annual brand planning, forecasting and budgeting process to represent payer and channel customer segment and ensures brand plans incorporate the needs of patients, payers, and healthcare providers.Partners with New Product Planning and Business Development functions to inform market access inputs for early stage/targeted assets.Identifies, as appropriate, payer/system specific opportunities for innovative arrangements based on brand strategies in collaboration with Strategic Partnerships.Oversees all payer and channel market research for relevant products.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field required.10 plus years of experience in biopharma market access (across payer, PBM, IDN, GPO, Specialty Pharmacy, etc.) required.Experience with specialty products preferred.Experience working cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Legal, Finance, Analytics, Public Affairs.Understanding of US payer market dynamics and how managed care organizations make decisions across commercial and public channels.Knowledge on specialty pharmacy (how they operate, drivers, strengths) to ensure a positive patient experience.Knowledge across multiple market channels including payer, PBM, IDN, distribution, specialty pharmacy, GPOs.Knowledge of the Commercial brand planning process.Financial acumen including resource allocation, budget management and reporting, strategic sourcing and P&L evaluation.Analytical capabilities to ensure robust inputs to decision-making.Travel- 10% domestic.More about us:At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs.
