Key ResponsibilitiesFamiliar with device wafer and die manufacturing process and clean room lab operation (FEOL and BEOL)Familiar with tool throughput, tack time, raw process time, tool utilization metricsFamiliar with cycle time, WIP turn, moves, and operation efficiency metricsUnderstand how production capacity and cycle time can be calculated based on tool and operation efficiency metric parametersAnalyze the lab worker work efficiency and tool utilization status, and make suggestions for productivity improvementResponsible to calculate the production line capacity and simulate the bottleneck tools and their impactResponsible to create the device production plan based on device shipment due date, device yield, manufacturing lead time and line capacityResponsible to daily monitor the production status (FEOL and BEOL) toward the business plan, and highlight any gaps or delay to be mitigatedMake a proposed plan for future manufacturing volume expansion for additional tools or resource needsFunctional KnowledgeRecognized as “guru” or external expert in a function.
