The AWS Global Infrastructure Product Marketing team is looking for a product marketer to drive AWS Local Zones and AWS Dedicated Local Zones marketing strategy, messaging, positioning, and global launches. In this role, you will start backwards from the customer and work with a cross-functional team to develop compelling, strategic narratives to increase awareness and adoption of AWS Local Zones and AWS Dedicated Local Zones.You will build messaging narratives and create content that excites customers across the buyer’s journey. You will work closely with field marketing teams to learn the uniqueness of each region launch and articulate that across web pages, blogs, social media, and other content. You'll work closely with product management, worldwide sales, public relations (PR), and (Go-to-Market) teams to get the right messaging and positioning to drive awareness of AWS Local Zones launches, and emphasize the AWS Global Infrastructure story. You will get to work on strategic launches that drive both in-region and global awareness for the world most extensive global infrastructure and have a big impact every day by writing messaging that leads to increased customer awareness, engagement, and adoption.This role may sit in either Seattle, WA or Santa Clara, CA USA only. Relocation offered only to these locations from within the USA only.Key job responsibilities
Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns, eBooks, presentations, how to guides, etc.)Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiencesHave a good understanding of the cloud market and be able to articulate the benefits of the AWS cloud across all marketing collateral.Work with Product, Field Marketing, Public Relations, and Partners to articulate AWS Local Zones and AWS Dedicated Local Zones benefits, and value propositions to enterprise buyers and decision maker audiencesDrive marketing and thought leadership campaigns across all relevant digital channels, including social engagement, search, email marketing, to increase awareness and adoption of AWS Local ZonesClearly communicate the benefits of AWS Local Zones while focusing on uniqueness of in country region launches across all marketing assets (blogs, messaging narratives, social media posts, videos, etc.)Lead and execute on strategic launches working across engineering, field marketing, product, analyst relations, and public relations (PR) teams.About the team
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experienceExperience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launchesExperience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goalsBachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing7+ years of product marketing experience developing messaging, positioning, and marketing content for complex technology services at a global companyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
