DescriptionTSP is engaged in a direct hire search for one of our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Medical Science Liaison. Key aspects of this role will include engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals that translate into meaningful insights, serving as a therapeutic expert and thought partner to internal teams, liaising between the client and clinical study sites/investigators, and providing support for medical education, advisory boards, and medical congresses.The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, driven, detail-oriented, proactive, and a skilled collaborator.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions to advance scientific and medical knowledge.Communicate clinical and scientific data to KOLs and healthcare professionals through presentations, educational programs, and scientific discussions.Provide scientific support for medical congresses, advisory boards, and other relevant scientific engagements to enhance the visibility of the client within the scientific and medical communities.Collaborate cross-functionally with medical affairs, clinical development, marketing, and other teams to support the development and execution of medical strategies and tactics.Required Education, Experience and Skills:Doctoral degree in scientific or medical discipline8+ years experience as an MSL or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industryStrong understanding of clinical research methodologies and drug development processes.Knowledge and experience within the oncology therapeutic areaProven ability to analyze and synthesize scientific information effectively.Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific data to diverse audiences.Strong networking skills with proven ability to successfully build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.Self-directed and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Willingness to travel up to 60% of the timePreferred Education, Experience and Skills:Preferred experience in lung and gastrointestinal cancers.Experience with both early and late stage clinical assets, as well as approved therapies.
