AMR Head of Finance, Leasing Advisory
serves as the strategic finance partner to the America’s CEO of the Leasing Advisory business and broader Leasing leadership team. They will drive the development of financial insights and support executive-level decision-making within the America’s Leasing Advisory business. They will be responsible for refining JLL's America’s Leasing Advisory strategy in partnership with regional, country, and local market and business line leaders.This individual will be responsible for oversight of a large finance team of 75+ finance professionals and will be asked to effectively organize, manage, and lead those resources to optimize results for JLL. They will be tasked with driving transformation efforts to continue to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Americas Leasing Advisory finance function. Success in this position involves gaining a deep knowledge of the business objectives, assessing the current state, and developing a strategic roadmap to financial excellence. The position reports directly to the CFO, Leasing Advisory, and will require travel as needed.ResponsibilitiesServe as an executive advisor to the CEO of AMR Leasing Advisory, providing strategic planning and key decision-making support while delivering on-time, high-quality insights to help drive the business forward.In partnership with the Global CEO of Leasing Advisory, drive growth and cost agenda.Lead a team of 75+ finance professionals through transformation requiring significant change management to support the business organizational model efficiently and effectively on a regional scale while providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development.Provide strategic and financial oversight for critical commercial investments/costs, including commission structures, broker loans, and performance bonuses, as well as other platform investments including sales enablement, technology platforms, research, and other support.Define best-in-class finance processes to ensure robust and resilient outcomes and best-in-class efficiency (e.g., order-to-cash, DSO/cash collection, commissions processing), leverage technology and shared services to achieve outcomes.Identify and execute on operational efficiencies including automation, hubbing, and offshoring to ensure optimized cost structure particularly for finance and operational processes.Develop a commercial finance support capability to improve pricing outcomes and governance for price discounts, rebates, and other forms of price leakage.Develop and incorporate key market/competitive inputs into planning and forecast processes, including win/loss ratios, share metrics, and other market and competitor trends.Partner with the global team to deliver on key finance initiatives: performance metrics, leadership dashboards, CRM, and other technology platforms.Partner with critical finance, functional, and business teams to deliver optimal outcomes for JLL including controllership, tax, treasury, HR, Reward, JLLT, etc.Leverage technology investments to strengthen and expand advanced analytics and decision-making insights to drive the growth and profitability of the platform.Lead all aspects of the financial planning process including budgeting, variance reporting and mitigation, forecasting; work with the global team to develop a 3-year outlook and planning process.Build strong relationships across the business – engage with leaders to ensure the level and quality of information needed to report on firm/business/geography performance is received; be able to provoke the debate and influence the outcome; not simply act as a provider of analytics.Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of competitor set, financial performance, and areas of focus to remain best-in-class in all areas of reporting and analysis.Key CompetenciesLeadershipEffective communicationContinuous improvementProvide strong technical stewardship and direction to the teamProblem SolvingAbility to make tough decisionsExcellent judgment and ability to analyze and resolve issuesInterpersonal SkillsStakeholder ManagementRelationship ManagementConflict ManagementOral/Written communication skill to interact with management at all levelsRequirementsThe AMR Head of Finance, Leasing Advisory Leader must be a seasoned professional who has extensive experience generating results and leading teams with exceptional management skills. The role requires a corporate professional who has an entrepreneurial style, looks to the future with optimism to envision what could be possible, and implements best-in-class transformation.Qualifications required:A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accountingMBA and CPA are preferred15+ years of professional experience10+ years of managerial experienceSignificant experience as a Finance Executive in the Real Estate Services industry highly preferred.Experience leading large teams and driving results through othersDemonstrated experience managing core involvement in strategic decision-making associated with business operations, pricing, planning, and other critical finance initiativesExceptional track record creating positive relationships with senior executive leadershipSuperb written and verbal communication skillsExtensive experience leading and working collaboratively across global organizations and a wide range of stakeholdersEstimated total compensation for this position:
450,000.00 – 525,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
