Clearwater Analytics is seeking a dynamic leader to strategically build and oversee our product and portfolio marketing function, with a focus on global and client expansion.We are looking for someone passionate about understanding client needs, delving into product details, and creating messaging that drives value-driven initiatives. This leadership role reports directly to the CMO and requires outstanding communication, leadership, and marketing skills. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across teams, including product, sales, partnerships, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Strategic Narratives, Messaging, and Positioning: Craft and optimize positioning and messaging across various dimensions (market, company, platform, product, and competitive positioning) to empower sales teams, support successful product launches, and deploy through all market-facing communication touchpoints (website, sales messages, SDR, content, etc.).

Client Engagement: Engage with current and prospective clients, advocate for their needs and motivations in our brand and roadmap and guide the team to promote new concepts and maximize the value derived from our solutions.

Customer Journey Design: Design and maintain an end-to-end customer journey for buyer personas in collaboration with revenue leadership; use this journey to implement acquisition, activation, and expansion strategies.

Collaborate with Sales and Customer-Facing Teams: Develop proactive enablement materials, value tools, and strategies that enhance our ability to win deals, consult clients, and add value.

Educate and Advocate: Educate industry analysts, prospects, and customers about Clearwater’s vision and solutions through meetings, webinars, conferences, and tradeshows.

Thought Leadership: Participate in event presentations, write compelling articles, and brief decision-makers to solidify Clearwater’s position as a thought leader in our industry.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

15+ Years of Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in product marketing (Financial services, SaaS and data) with a demonstrated track record of responsibility and ownership of product marketing direction and strategy.

Technical Product Differentiation: Experience in differentiating technical products to both technical users and economic decision-makers.

Engaging Presentation Skills: Strong presentation abilities, effective in both small, private groups and large, public audiences.

Strong Communication: Ability to align and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, product management, and other marketing functions.

Compensation:The salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $250,000 +bonus and RSUs, based on market analysis and relevant factors.
