The Marketing Officer will play a crucial role in assisting the licensing division. The role is pivotal to ensuring seamless execution of our own marketing activities and platforms, as well as our licensees’ efforts for specific categories: Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, shade and clothing. The role is a full-time hybrid with 1 day a week in the office, and flexible work options.About the Team
The Team consists of a small but agile group: Head of National Licensing and the National Marketing Manager. This is a newly created role for a Marketing Officer reporting directly to the National Marketing Manager, Licensing and Retail. The team works within the Cancer Council Australia office based in Sydney’s CBD, alongside the Cancer Control Campaigns and Communication team, National Digital Content, and the Cancer Control Policy division.Key Responsibilities of The Role
Marketing campaign assistance: Contribute to the planning and execution of CCA’s brand led marketing campaigns for the licensing division.Licensee led campaign management: Ensure all relevant licensing led campaigns and initiatives are integrated across owned channels.Marketing collateral and content creation: Drive the creation of high impact marketing collateral through the development of engaging creative materials and content.Compliance and approvals: Supervise and facilitate the approval of licensing marketing submission, and some product development submissions.Photoshoot and event coordination: Assist in leading the coordination of photoshoots and PR event activations.Social media: Take a proactive, strategic approach to enhance followers on the 2 product focused SM platforms.Social Market Research: Develop and oversee quarterly reporting and presenting to team on social media trends and insights.Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the licensing team.Vendor Coordination: Manage the relationship with some external vendors and partners.Budget Tracking: Tracking expenses related to social media and PR initiatives.About you
You have a collaborative working style, with exceptional interpersonal skills.You can demonstrate autonomy and independence to work remotely with confidence and deliver on tasks as required.You have excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.You have Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrate transferable skills in a similar or related role.You have a proven track record in working within a marketing and or PR environment.Familiarity with the licensing business model would be an advantage.About The Benefits
