Location: Chicago, ILJob Description:Designs, develops and supports custom software applications and integrations to third-party vendor applications utilized by faculty, staff, students and alumni.Leads / manages the Application Developers, Data Warehouse Analyst, Database Administrator and Applications Architect.Plans resource allocations for both projects and day-to-day development activities.Builds strong partnerships across the business to ensure priorities are understood and met.Assigns tasks and monitors development progress compared to plans.Member of the Change Advisory Board and responsible for scheduling application deployments.Assists the Chief Information Officer with the Booth application strategy.Collaborates with client departments to design and plan the implementation of new applications or enhancement of existing systems.Researches new technologies appropriate to systems development.Manages programming staff through subordinates, usually other managers. Establishes performance goals, allocates resources, directs training, and assesses policies for direct subordinates.Executes functional business plans and contributes to the development of overall programming strategy.
