Aritzia is growing and our Talent Acquisition team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to lead the world-class team responsible for acquiring the best people in the industry to meet the current and future needs of the business. As the Head of Retail Talent Acquisition, you will establish the global TA strategy for all field roles in Retail to build high-performing teams across our entire global network of boutiques. You will lead the sourcing, assessing, impressing and securing of world-class talent of all levels and career paths for the Retail business. And, with people at the heart of everything you do, you will support your high performing teams to build rewarding careers at Aritzia — while enjoying one yourself.
THE ROLE
As the Head of Retail Talent Acquisition, you will lead the team to:
Establish a proactive approach of building an effective talent pipeline for roles from store associate to regional VP, across retail career paths including Sales, Merchandising, Talent Management and more.
Find the best retail talent and deliver the right people to put forward for assessment.
Assess and select the best candidates that meet our key attributes of employment.
Inspire candidates with all Aritzia has to offer, exciting them about the role, the company and the career opportunities.
Secure top talent with compelling offers, never losing a top candidate over factors we can control.
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Head of Retail Talent Acquisition has:
Proven and best-in-class skills, education and/or applicable certifications in high volume Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and/or Retail Operations.
A passion for Aritzia, Retail, and all things fashion.
A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes.
The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team.
A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value.
A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate.
Role is based in Vancouver, New York City, or Toronto and will require travel to visit our network of boutiques.
THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000 - $300,000 USD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
