*Position Overview*:Are you a seasoned hardware engineer with a passion for designing and developing cutting-edge technology systems? Do you hold an RCDD certification and have experience with structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking an RCDD Hardware Engineer who will play a key role in researching, designing, developing, and testing hardware solutions, while also leading project teams and working closely with clients to meet their needs.
*Key Responsibilities*:* Conduct advanced research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware including computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.* Design new products and modify existing products to meet client specifications and industry standards.* Develop technical specifications for production and ensure compliance with relevant standards.* Analyze hardware configurations and processing solutions to optimize performance.* Test hardware to ensure it meets performance specifications.* Provide guidance and leadership to junior hardware engineers and may assume supervisory responsibilities.* Serve as a liaison with clients, participating in meetings to understand and meet their needs effectively.* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and industry standards.* Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
*What You’ll Need*:* *Secret Clearance*: Required.* *RCDD Certification*: Required.* *Experience*: Minimum of 8-10 years in hardware engineering with at least 8 years of experience in developing layout and design for technology systems, including voice, data, and structured cabling.* *Expertise*: Strong knowledge of BICSI standards, NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, and other applicable codes related to IT, low voltage, and telecommunications systems.* *Skills*: Proven ability in RCDD cost estimation and structured cabling systems from both installation and design perspectives.
