$4.25 - 2nd Shift
$8.00 - 3rd Shift
$4.75 - Weekend
Under the supervision of a radiologist, and direction of the Lead CT Tech, this position competently performs imaging on a multi-detector CT scanner. Responsible for scanning and imaging protocols. Must have the ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy, performs CTA's and inject contrast media where applicable. Responsible for providing service excellence and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results.
Minimum Education
High School Graduate or equivalent
Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Minimum Work Experience
Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience
Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
Must possess current Vt. state RT license
BLS Certification through American Heart Association
Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re-certification and licensure
CT certified by ARRT or obtaining (must obtain within one year of employment)
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.*
Pay Range = $29.28 - $43.30
