This position does not provide a telework option. Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Patuxent River, MD.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support the execution of an advanced research and development program. Work with the program teams to develop strategy to test advanced capabilities, identify and verify gaps, verify requirements, define program test objectives, and test plans. Support and coordinate technical reviews, evaluation of test plans, prepare test security concepts of operation, and monitor and report team and contract test status execution. Support the development of acquisition and technical documentation. Serve as the senior test engineering focal point for coordination of test program status and test execution throughout the design, engineering, integration, test and program execution process. Analyze manufacturers’ proposals as permitted by law and regulation. Develop, execute, monitor and report status on multiple assigned program efforts including analysis of test data.
Serve as the focal point for program’s Test and Evaluation (T&E) execution, test coordination and communication of T&E concerns and issues with program management and technical leadership. Coordinate functions between government and manufacturer(s) leads, program engineers, T&E subject matter experts, and warfighters involved in program test execution.
Support and provide insight to determine the effectiveness of program execution and recommend modifications to processes for program activities. Work with program management and program teams to develop out-year planning for requirements/capabilities, and provide input to roadmaps for analysis, risk reduction, development and integration of capabilities.
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Systems, Electrical, Test Engineering, Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience: Candidate must have at least ten (10) years of experience in military platforms/avionics or sensor systems test engineering and T&E development processes.
Allowable Experience/Education Substitutions: Experience cannot be substituted for education.
Desired Experience:
Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe products.Candidate should have demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.Candidate should have experience coordinating operations across multiple organizational boundaries.Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.
