ABOUT THE ROLE
Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, is responsible for developing and maintaining organizational reports, metrics, and scorecards/dashboards. The Data Analyst ensures accurate and timely distribution of data in support of organizational goals and responsibilities. The Data Analyst identifies opportunities to further leverage existing data applications for continuous process improvement around the distribution and consumption of organizational/external data.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
(in descending order of importance)Extracts data from multiple sources to present in meaningful charts, graphs, tables, or other visualizations.Supports organizational goals and objectives through data collection and analysis for assigned projects and process improvement programs.Maintains existing dashboards and reports ensuring accuracy and consistent delivery methods through use of automated tools and workflows.Delivers data-driven strategic insights, trends, and predictions to the Marketing team on current media optimization and future investment opportunitiesEnsures accurate and timely information gathering for internal and external audit requests.Works closely with Marketing, Sales, and Lending teams to identify opportunities for new member acquisitionConducts competitive research and analyze benchmarking data; devises and evaluates methods for collecting data, such as surveys, focus groups, questionnaires, and opinion polls.Works alongside representatives from various departments to apply their data by designing and providing suggestions for them to implement business models.Performs other reporting, analysis, project, and administrative related duties as assigned by the FVP, Financial Planning & Analysis and Data Science Manager.QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Minimum One Year of SQL Experience required
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Mathematics required
Minor in Marketing/Marketing Analytics preferred
Experience / Skills/Knowledge :
Demonstrated knowledge of SQL with working knowledge of data presentation and report writing methodologies. Familiarity of reporting tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Paginated Reports, Excel, PowerBI, Access, SalesForce, etc.) preferred.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Understanding of advanced statistical methods, machine learning, data mining and AI.Advanced knowledge of Python or R.Knowledge of digital analytics and social media measurement tools (Facebook Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics, etc).Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Strong negotiation and collaboration skills required.Strong member service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Ability to handle simultaneously, multiple tasks and changing priorities.Ability to work/learn independently.
