Settlement Analyst I or II
to join our innovative team. In this position, you'll play a key role in ensuring seamless market and transmission settlements, all while collaborating with industry experts and contributing to exciting developments in the field!
What You'll Do:
Daily Operations: Support daily market or transmission settlement production activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.Validation & Compliance: Perform pre- and post-settlement validations of billing determinants and settlement statements, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain and update procedures for market or transmission settlement processes, tracking progress and ensuring accuracy.Client Support: Address client inquiries and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring accurate settlements.Analytical Problem-Solving: Utilize your analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and provide insightful financial analysis.Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with the Supervisor, Manager, and Director of Settlements on special projects, enhancements, and new product testing.Stay Informed: Develop a deep understanding of market protocols and SPP tariffs to meet settlement obligations effectively.If you're excited to contribute to a fast-paced and rewarding environment, we want to hear from you!

To be successful as a Settlement Analyst, we're looking for:
Bachelor's DegreeLevel II:
Two years job related experience (Four years of relevant job-related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement)Level I:
No experience required (Two years of relevant job-related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement)Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeProficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and PPT.Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and customer focusKnowledge of electric utility industryKnowledge of computer business applications and data base management systems
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.
Position Location:
This is a hybrid position with a requirement for a minimum of 2-3 days onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Travel Requirement:
This position requires minimal travel (approximately 10%).
