Develop and implement strategic procurement plans in line with the company's objectives.2. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery terms.3. Evaluate and manage supplier performance, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and maintain a high level of service.4. Utilize ERP and MRP systems to forecast demand, manage inventory, and plan purchases.5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and production to understand their procurement needs.6. Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and stay abreast of industry trends.7. Manage risks related to supply chain disruptions and propose contingency plans.8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.9. Continually evaluate opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.3. Proven experience with ERP and MRP systems.4. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade.5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.6. Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.8. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues.9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.10. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.11.
