Front End Developer

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Front End Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on front end development with Angular and JavaScript, as well as other technologies
• Analyze, design, modify, build, and deploy applications
• Translate and document business problems and/or user stories to functional applications
• Ensures projects are completed within committed time and budget
• Create detail design artifacts and technical documentation
• Participates in design reviews
• Maintain code quality
• Assist in post implementation support and system enhancements
• Defines system content, structure, and flows

Requirements:

• 1-2+ years of experience with hands-on front end UI development
• Going to be onsite 3 days a week
• Design web applications using HTML5, XML, XHTML, DOM, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Angular (10+) Bootstrap, JQuery, JSON
• Familiarity with RESTful API into UI screens
• Experience with Cross Browser Compatibility issues and Optimization for web, including CSS sprites and best practices
• Experience in Angular for creating interactive UI's using One-way data flow, Virtual DOM, JSX, React Native concepts
• Knowledge in complying WebPages depending up on Web Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (W3CAG)
• Experience with CSS Background, CSS Layouts, CSS positioning, CSS text, CSS border, CSS margin, CSS padding, CSS table, Pseudo classes, Pseudo elements and CSS behaviors in CSS.
• Ability to engage with senior management for User Interface development /Design functions
• Experience using GIT, SVN, VSS, and TFS versioning systems
• Understanding of deployment stages like Dev, Test, UAT, and Prod with overall business goals and industry standards
• Familiar with Oracle, SQL Server
• Debugging and troubleshooting existing code
• Experience writing test cases and test suites using Mockito, Junit and Gunit
• Experience with Text-Editors like Eclipse, Komodo Edit, Sublime Text, and Notepad++
• Self-starter, Team Player, must want to learn and expand experience
• Familiar with Agile software development methodology
• Self-starter with excellent analytical and project management skills
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
