Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading automated equipment manufacturer who is hiring a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working either 6am-2:45 or 7am-3:45pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering Technician will read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions to perform accurate mechanical and electrical assembly of components and equipment.
- Technician will utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to assemble and install parts.
- Technician will perform quality checks and inspections to ensure the accuracy and functionality of assembled components.
- Technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any technical issues or challenges during the assembly process.
- Technician will perform reliability testing, configuring machines, performing product and subsystem testing, running machinery, and documenting test results.
- Technician will build subsystems, fabricate wire harnesses.
- Technician will test system maintenance.
- Technician will support prototype assembly, testing procedures, and mechanical system troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 3+ years experience in mechanical fabrication or electrical assembly.
- Candidates must have experience in building or assembling electromechanical systems, wire harnesses, custom cables, mechanical assembly, and disassembly following engineering procedures.
- Candidates must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Candidates must be familiar with using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment used in mechanical assembly.
- Candidates must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
- Candidates must have strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; technical degree a plus.
