CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP MANAGER WBUR Development

As our new Corporate Membership Manager, you will have primary responsibility for the growth, management and enhancement of WBUR's new corporate membership program. A collaborative, mission-driven, and entrepreneurial leader, you will excel at frontline fundraising and provide detail-oriented operational program management. In this new role, you will work with members of the WBUR Business Partnerships team, the WBUR Finance office, external vendors, and other key stakeholders. You will report to the Director of Institutional & Corporate Giving. Your major responsibilities will include identifying, soliciting, and activating benefits for corporate members. Your duties will include prospect research; direct solicitation of prospects; management and tracking of annual renewals; coordinating with various departments across the organization to activate benefits; and ongoing stewardship of key corporate contacts.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of related work experience
- A strong belief in the mission of WBUR and the importance of public media
- Confidence and experience in direct solicitation of constituents, as well as a driven, results-oriented approach to ensure that the program is meeting its ambitious annual goals
- A self-starting work style, with a proven ability to meet project deadlines and maintain positive, respectful professional relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable working in and maintaining a donor database
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Corporate fundraising experience strongly preferred, preferably in an arts or educational setting
- Previous experience managing a membership program desired
