DescriptionAmazon is building the next generation of hardware and software products to support our global transportation network. Our team is looking for a Principal Product Manager to build and scale hardware and software products for reusables such as carts and totes used in Amazon’s transportation network worldwide.Relay Fleet Tech owns hardware and software products for telematics, asset management and maintenance, visibility, and reusables for Middle Mile. Our primary customers are carriers, fleet operations, planning and optimization, sort-tech, and loss prevention teams. You are a true owner - you are passionate about building hardware and software products and innovate on behalf of our customers. You ideally have experience presenting a strategic vision to VPs, and are excited to think-out-of-the box to solve complex problems.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Principal PM, you are the end-to-end owner of vision, strategy, and execution for products developed by our team for reusables assets.You will define the product roadmap and bring your vision to life by leading a cross-functional team of engineers, program managers, and other product owners.You will drive day-to-day product development from design through to release.Your product requirements are concise, with clear, measurable success criteria.You are an effective negotiator, make smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality, and drive appropriate schedules.You use data to influence our business strategy and technical priorities, and escalate when necessary without negatively impacting relationships.You independently represent your products and the product team and are comfortable communicating with senior executives as well as with business and technical stakeholders.Basic Qualifications10+ years of end to end product delivery experienceBachelor's degreeExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on timePreferred QualificationsMBAExperience with hardware technology productsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
