Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant, who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Role: SAP FICO Consultant Job Level: Manager Location: Greenville, NC Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Functional Architect with 11 to 13 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SAP FICO and related modules. This role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial processes and ensuring seamless integration across various SAP modules. . Role Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements. Oversee the integration of SAP Taxation SAP Cost Center Accounting and SAP Profit Center Accounting modules. Provide expertise in SAP New GL and SAP Internal Orders to streamline financial operations. Ensure seamless transition and functionality between SAP Classic GL and SAP Credit Management. Implement and optimize SAP Profitability Analysis and SAP Product Costing for accurate financial reporting. Manage SAP Automatic Payments SAP Accounts Receivable and SAP Accounts Payable processes. Oversee SAP Asset Management to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of company assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP FICO solutions align with business goals. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the efficiency of SAP FICO modules. Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with financial regulations. Develop and maintain documentation for SAP FICO processes and configurations. Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to continuously improve system performance. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Minimum Qualifications: Must have extensive experience in SAP FICO and related modules. Should have a strong understanding of SAP Taxation SAP Cost Center Accounting and SAP Profit Center Accounting. Must be proficient in SAP New GL SAP Internal Orders and SAP Classic GL. Should have experience in SAP Credit Management and SAP Profitability Analysis. Must be skilled in SAP Product Costing SAP Automatic Payments SAP Accounts Receivable and SAP Accounts Payable. Should have experience in SAP Asset Management. Nice to have domain experience in Cheminformatics and Bioinformatics. Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work in a hybrid model with day shifts. Should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Should have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
