Were seeking a Senior Application Developer (Full-Stack Engineer II) to join our Enterprise Financial Messaging team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA HYBRID. In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways: Help us to develop, support and maintain the critical SWIFT Messaging Infrastructure. Provide comprehensive technical support for the application and act like an owner. Participate in design, analysis, coding and successful deployment of the application in production. Participate in troubleshooting issues, incidents and propose solutions. Help to improve resiliency by focusing on monitoring and alerting. Secure the application from vulnerabilities. Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Actively participate in code reviews. To be successful in this role, were seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 8 years of experience in systems analysis and program development with related supervisory, management and administrative experience required. Good proficiency in software development (especially Java 11 or higher, SQL, Unix/Linux scripting) preferred Strong experience in SDLC, DevOps processes CI/CD tools, Git, etc. 7 years of experience in SWIFT Messaging applications with hands-on experience on any of the following applications: AMH, SAA, SAG, AWP Solid Understanding of Messaging frameworks like IBM MQ Experience in the banking/financial services industry is a plus. Coordinate coding, unit testing, implementation, and documentation of solution. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
