Description: Under the direction of the Network Manager, the Network Administrator is responsible for organizing, modifying, installing and supporting various aspects of the credit union's computer, network and server systems. Responsibilities may include installing and supporting the network and telecommunications infrastructure, Windows and Linux/UNIX servers, enterprise-wide application suites, information security detection and prevention systems and other network or server-based systems in accordance with the design and specifications of the Network Manager and/or the Sr. Network Administrator. Assist, mentor and train Helpdesk Technicians with complex issues and system deployments. Skills: sql, DBA, windows, vmware, windows server, windows 10, troubleshooting, active directory, windows server administration, powershell, linux, windows administration Top Skills Details: sql,DBA,windows,vmware,windows server,windows 10,troubleshooting,active directory,windows server administration Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a related field or equivalent training, certifications and experience in network or server administration above the minimum required experience. Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting server or network systems and infrastructure as well as supporting systems, applications and software in a Microsoft environment. Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure to include superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft server & workstation OS, network monitoring tools, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP) and knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, DNS and DHCP Experience building and supporting complex server farms and systems, knowledge and experience supporting database systems including MS SQL clusters and a good understanding and working knowledge of hypervisor technologies. Proficiency with all forms of storage technologies including RAID, SAN, NAS, iSCSI as well as having a good understanding of backup/restore technologies & retention policies Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner with members, co-workers, vendors, general public, and people with various professional backgrounds. Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with management to achieve business objectives. Proactively identify process improvements. Ability to remain calm, patient, objective, and professional when presented with complex or uncertain situations. Effectively and professionally take control of conversations and manage conflict, researching issues and finding solutions, as necessary. Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment, under sometimes tight deadlines. Possess a well-developed sense of urgency and follow through, exercising good judgement and prioritizing tasks. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and security with sensitive information.
