Lockheed Martin's SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a Range Maintenance Support Specialist to join the SOF GLSS team in Fayetteville, NC. The candidate will perform classified duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Range Maintenance Support Specialist your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide range maintenance support for the testing and training ranges at the customer's location.
Maintain existing facilities, targets, grounds, lighting, enclosures, fences, gates, alarms, and ancillary equipment to the customer's standards.
Maintain a broad scope of knowledge in mechanical design, drawing, and blueprinting.
Be familiar in the concepts and applications of electrical and other engineering disciplines.
Be capable of converting concepts into manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and documents.
Maintain knowledge of automated engineering and drawing software packages.
Be familiar with the use of DoD, Army, Federal, and Civil automated and printed parts and material identification and specification programs and manuals.
Be familiar with Military Specification (MILSPEC) Standards and Tests.
Maintain a working knowledge of associated industrial equipment, blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation, Federal & Department of the Army safety and industrial operations, manuals, and regulations.
Independently exercise responsibility for maintaining all utility systems and computers with controls, taking actions to shut down systems and bring up systems as necessary.
Demonstrates ability to correctly trouble-shoot equipment malfunctions and provide timely and accurate solutions to ensure highly technical equipment and infrastructure are operating at optimum levels.

Basic Qualifications:
Consistently anticipates construction equipment repair/maintenance/installation and Range grounds/facilities equipment maintenance requirements.
Must have expert knowledge and understanding in reading and executing Engineering drawings and specifications for the existing equipment and new equipment installation.
Must have expert knowledge about construction practices and upgrades available on the market. Demonstrates independent modification and upgrades to existing and new equipment/structures.
Routinely provide independent solutions to time sensitive mission requirements.
Must have expert knowledge on DoD and Military training requirements in a unique environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
