Job Description:

The Tactical Communications SW engineering group is looking to expand its team of networking SW engineers to work on a collection of modern tactical military radios for DoD and Allied market space. These radios can be either single or multi-channel and support multiple modern mobile ad-hoc networking waveforms. We are in need of an embedded SW engineer who can support the networking subsystem to include implementing network protocols, analyzing defects using network monitoring tools, and supporting test organizations in configuring test scenarios.

Essential Functions:Member of an Agile Scrum team that develops SW for advanced tactical radio equipmentResponsible for research, design, and development of embedded software for software defined radio products.Develops and conducts software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.Provides technical support to internal and external customers.Executes software development process in a CMMI Level 3 environment.Must be able to obtain a US security clearanceQualifications:

Requires mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas. Viewed as an expert and/or resource within the field by peers in and outside the organization. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experiencePreferred Additional Skills:

Able to work closely with engineering leadership and external customers to understand requirements and generate solutions based on customer requestsSubject matter expert with networking protocolsExperience with C, C++ and object-oriented designExperience in embedded development on Linux platformsKnowledge of HAIPE

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $135,000 - $251,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
