Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist. About this position: Applies the use of Radionuclides and Radiopharmaceuticals to perform Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine/PET CT procedures under the direction of a qualified Physician, Chief, and/or Senior Technologist. Performs all activities according to Federal, State, Local, Hospital Policies and Regulations. Operates Imaging Equipment to produce Diagnostic Images of Specific Body Parts. - Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board. - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear). - And/Or: Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) or (RT), perferred. - Obtain a CT Registry for PET/CT from American College of Radiology within one year of employment. - CPR Certified. (BLS) - Knowledge of the needs and behaviors of infant, child, adolescent, adult, And older adult patients preferred.
