Start date November 19.1:3 with trachs and ventilator management REQUIRED.Non-titrated cardiac drip management (Amiodarone, Milrinone, lasix, cardizem (titrated), dopamine and dobutamine) required.Insulin 3:1 preferred (not required).Meditech Experience Preferred.Will consider first time travelers with PCU experience with 1:3-4 ratios.Weekend Requirement- minimum of 2 weekends/month (could be more).Float within areas of competency (med/surg, tele, obs).Omnicell med system.SBAR communication.24hr orientation.Navy scrubs (not provided).Provider support includes Interpretation Services, Lift Teams, Pharmacy, Phlebotomy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Unit Secretary.Intensivist and Hospitalist provider coverage.Job Requirements
MS/Tele; Telemetry; PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required.Management/Interpretation of dysrhythmias required.Telemetry -on the unit monitoring required.Use of Rapid Response Teams required.Post MI care experience required.Feeding tube care and management required.Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management required.Renal failure care experience required.Accessing Ports required.BPA experience required.Central line care/management required.Peripheral Line Care/Management required.PICC line management required.Starting IVs required.Heparin Protocols required.Manage Cardiac drips- no titration required.Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration required.CVA care experience required.Care of Ventilated Patient required.Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac required.External CPAP/BIPAP required.High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) required.Interpretation of ABGs required.Nasal Cannula experience required.Oxygen face masks required.Non-invasive airway management required.Tracheostomy Management required.Isolation Precautions required.Wound Care/Wound Vac required.Schedule Information
