RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.Target Ratios: 1:6 (unit strives to keep this ratio but also wants understanding that there can be times when the ratio is 1:7 due to call outs and/or general staffing needs).Fast paced unit.Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!*36 or 48 hours can be Offered.If Accepting 48 Hours, No OT until after 48 hours.12 HOUR NIGHTS.*Unit is willing to accommodate block schedulingFloat Requirement: FLOATING REQUIRED as needed to other med/surg units/floors.Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Pt population: 2nd GI cares for a robust mixture of patients with GI conditions, patients with blood loss and anemia associated with the GI tract, patients with infections, some renal patients, surgical patients who have had GI surgery, and we have 10 Tele beds for monitoring cardiac rhythms.SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Fast paced unit. On average they turn over a third of their beds every day.UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS/EPIC/SBAR.UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hoursSCRUBS: Navy and/or white.Job Requirements
