Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required BLS - Basic Life Support required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for certain units NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for certain units TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required for certain units Tech Cert Verification - National required for certain tech positions CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute required for Behavioral Health & ER Behavioral Health Annex Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required as applicable by profession Competency Exam required as applicable to profession/specialty Job Details Specialty: Registered Nurse PCU RN 26 weeks - FLEXIBLE 4x12 hour days available by request, 7a-7p; Must be a block schedule Block schedule options: Friday-Monday, Saturday-Tuesday 26 Week assignment available by request Traveler may request anything from 14-26 weeks if they wish to have a contract longer than the standard 13 weeks Unit to be determined by facility need after clinical evaluation Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4) All travelers are expected to float as needed within their acuity Travelers must work two out of the three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year).
