The right candidate must have a full 2 years of experience and hold an active BLS, ACLS, ATCN or TNCC, and AZ license or compact license.Travelers may float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, as needed.Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon acceptance (2 max attempts) and there is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions).Job Requirements
Full 2 years of minimum experience in ER/Trauma Level 1, which must be recent within the past 6 months.Experience with moderate conscious sedation competency testing is required.Pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 max attempts).COVID vaccine is required or declination form - must provide documentation from MD for medical declination.Schedule Information
Start times vary depending on shift (traveler needs to be flexible to work all shifts listed - this is mandatory, no exceptions).Day/Mid shift: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 12p-12a, 1p-1a.Night Shift: 3p-3a, 5p-5a, 7p-7a.Shifts are 12 hours long.Unit Specific Information
Unit: ERCharge Nurse and Unit Secretary present.Staff includes Nurse Aides and Paramedics.Ratios: 1:3-4 patients per nurse.Common diagnoses/Types of patients include Trauma, MVAs, GSW, blunt trauma, piercing trauma, CVA (Stroke center), MI (CP center), high risk OB, Psych holds, cardioversions, conscious sedation for closed fractures.Additional Details
Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule period.Must work 2 of 3 holidays during the holiday season.Travelers will need to pass required exams and labs as part of orientation.There is a varying start time schedule that travelers need to adhere to.
