A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced MS RN for a travel contract.The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS.Orientation/Education Hours: Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 week of your assignment. Expect 25+ hours.Job Requirements
Must have a minimum of 2 years M/S experience, Tele experience.RN's are required to titrate drips.Common titratable &/or set rate drips include Insulin, Pain Medications.Centralized Tele experience required; RN’s must validate Tele Strips.Schedule Information
Shifts & Scheduling: 7a-730p / 1900-0730a - Self Scheduling/Fill open shifts.Weekend Requirement: Every other.Holiday Requirement: One winter/one Summer.Call or Standby Requirement: Possibly place on Standby, no Call.Floating Requirements: Yes.Unit Specific Information
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Solid Tumor, Blood Cancer’s, Medical/Surgical overflow.Are RN's required to titrate drips: Yes.Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Both.Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes, average 8:1/ 10:1.RT/Equipment (i.e., Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Bipap, High flow.Scrub Color/Dress Code: Professional, clean, no Jean type.Unit/Department Specific Orientation: Care of the Oncology patient/Chemotherapy Precautions.Additional Details
COVID VACCINE REQUIRED!Highly Functioning Team, Great Support, Family Oriented Unit, NO RTO for the traveler first week on Assignment.Additional pay of $20/hr when floated within Region III that's not the primary facility.
