Supervises and coordinates the activities of the clerical staff, Staff Technologist and Radiologic Technology Students.
*
Evaluates and provides feedback regarding individual and team performance.
*
Recommends merit increases and corrective actions for staff within scope of responsibility.
*
Ensures that procedures are performed accurate and in a timely manner.
*
Ensures that equipment/supplies are maintained and used properly.
*
Communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians as required.
*
Stays abreast of the latest advances and procedures in radiology.
*
Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures Guidelines.
*
Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of 3-11 PM shift.
*
All other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
*
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
*
Registered by ARRT and Licensed as required by the State of Mississippi (MRT).
*
Have a minimum of 3 years Technical Radiographic experience required.
*
Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required.
*
Strong interpersonal skills required.
*
