Travel/Contract position for Radiology / Cardiology specialty in Lynwood, CA.Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), the role involves assisting by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.Assists in training of new staff.Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.Job Requirements
ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA) certification required upon hire and maintain current.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.Proficient computer skills.Schedule Information
On-call shifts required.Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts.Additional Details
