48 bed unit caring for medical surgical patients specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery. Eight of our beds are equipped for long term EEG monitoring. Our specialized patient population includes: strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, brain and spinal cord tumors, and other neurological conditions.Mixed acuity unit, ratios varySpecialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry RNYears of experience REQ: 2 YearsFirst-timers accepted: YESWeekend REQ: Four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule period (two weekends in a four week period or one shift/weekend for a four week period)Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work 2/3 major holidays - please submit this request with applicationCerts REQ: BLS (ACLS strongly preferred)Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs: YESLocals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted.
