Certification Details BLS, ACLS required NIH preferred Job Details 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7a Weekend Rotation, Holidays as needed. Staff are scheduled for a 6-Week period via a self-assisted schedule through Optilink. Staff are distributed within the schedule based on departmental need and based on patient work intensity, skill mix and previous assignments. Minimum 2 yrs exp required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - OK Focus on the cardiac patient (Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Arrythmias, pre and post cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, rule out myocardial infarction, arrythmias, syncope, pacemaker placement). Secondary focus on respiratory problems (ex. COPD, pneumonia, Bipap) 2A is a 30-private bed Cardiac Medical Progressive Care department that provides care 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Rooms are remotely monitored by the Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD). Job Requirements Minimum 2 yrs exp required. BLS, ACLS required. NIH preferred. Ratios 1:4 with drips/bipap, otherwise mostly 1:5 EPIC Use of Rapid Response Teams preferred Nurse Assistants 24/7. RN secretary 7a-11p. Interpretation and Mgmt of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Pre/POst Cardiac Cath,Peripheral Line Care and Management, PICC line management, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Chest tubes-Emerson, Pleur-evac, External CPAP BIPAP, Tracheostomy Management Schedule Information 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7a Weekend Rotation, Holidays as needed. 6-Week period scheduling through Optilink.
