Role: CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient)Responsible for assisting the radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures, and ensuring patient careProduces diagnostic CT scans, under the supervision of the CT SupervisorDemonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety appropriate to the age of the patient servedResponsible for coordination of the daily workflow and assist in the throughput of ER, in-patients and outpatientsResponsible for appropriate QC monitoring, mandatory in-services, etc.Has the authority to make technical decisions for the best possible CT scans, and administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologistProficient in the use of in-house CT scanning and contrast injecting equipmentChallenged to operate a variety of sophisticated CT imaging units and image storage systemsProvide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation of neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.Job Requirements
American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) upon hireAART (CT) Registry must be acquired within 12 months upon hireState of Nevada license for Medical RadiographyAHA BLS within 60 days upon hireMinimum two year clinical experience in the respective departmental requiredSchedule Information
Shift: Monday-Thursday day shift, most likely 10a-8:30p or 8a-6:30pNo call requirements specifiedWeekly Guaranteed Hours: 40Call Requirements: To Be Discussed During InterviewAdditional Details
Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency levelMay be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule periodRenown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract.
