Job DescriptionJob Description: Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center has an opportunity for a casual/as needed Sonographer to work bet available to work days/evenings/weekends at the hospital in Brainerd. St. Josephs Medical Center is a 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center with a 24-hour emergency room. We take pride in bringing a wide range of services to residents and visitors of the Brainerd, Minnesota area.St. Joseph’s is home to the Marilyn Covey Heart & Vascular Center and the St. Joseph’s Cancer Center. As one of Essentia Health’s Catholic facilities, we strive to provide holistic healing for all human life.As a Sonographer with Essentia Health you will:Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.Education Qualifications:

Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months - Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency.
