Mandatory Skills: Assessment skills for Antepartum, Laboring and Recovery of Delivered patient both vaginally and c/section, Abdominal Surgery post care, and Newborn care, Transitional care and stabilization for transport of Newborn and Maternal patients, IV skills

Patient Types: antepartum, laboring, Post Partum, Post-op c/section, Post -op Hysterectomy, Newborns
EMR: Epic
Beds: 9 plus 5 overflow, 9 LDRP with overflow available for up to 14 beds
Notes: Labor staff care for the Antepartum, Intrapartum, Delivery (vaginal or c/section), circulates c/sections, Recovery of Delivered patient, Post Partum, and post surgical Hysterectomy patients. Mom-Baby nurses care for GYN, post partum and newborn infants. Nursery staff attend every delivery for catching of infant (vaginal and c/sections), Care of the newborn infant (we delivery 35 weeks and greater), Stabilization of the patient to be transferred whether newborn or Maternal. Both areas start their own IV and draw labs. Infant stay with IV for low blood sugar, antibiotics, and phototherapy as long as improving.Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, weekly direct deposit, and more!
