We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous individual to join our team as a Legal Billing Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment within the Accounting and Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of legal billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. If you have a strong background in legal billing and are looking for a rewarding and fulfilling career, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of legal billing, including data entry, invoice generation, and account reconciliation. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely billing. Analyze and resolve billing queries and disputes, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing procedures, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency. Prepare and present billing reports, highlighting trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely A/R. Implement and maintain billing systems and procedures, identifying opportunities for process improvements.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in legal billing, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry. Proficient in A/R and other relevant software and systems. Strong understanding of billing procedures, regulations, and best practices. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle queries and disputes in a professional and timely manner. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative.
