Must have valid, current, full and unrestricted ProfessionalNursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States of American, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or territory of the United StatesTuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, a JCAHO accredited health center, provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations.Services provided to the community include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery and urological procedures.Approximately 49% of the surgeries performed are out patient/ambulatory surgical procedures.The staff of medical providers includes surgeons, general medical officers, internal medicine, psychiatrists, pediatricians, family practice physicians, obstetricians, ENT specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and urologists.This position provides specialist nursing advice and support to patients, their families and other healthcare professionals following diagnosis and through all stages of treatment.The incumbent is responsible for providing medical oncology and other infusion treatments and education regarding these treatments to patients with cancer, ensuring continuity of evidence-based nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, assessing health, health related and nursing needs of patients, their families, and other caregivers by identifying and initiating appropriate steps for effective care.Job Requirements

The incumbent with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.Must have two (2) years practice experience as a nurse in the acute care and/or ambulatory care setting including three (3) years of oncology nursing experienceMust have hands-on experience in all routes of infusion therapy, including peripheral lines, PICCs, implanted ports and other central venous access and different chemotherapy regimenAdditional Details
