TravelPosition: Travel Nurse (Day Shift)Shift: 12-hour days with varied start times (8:30 AM or 12:30 PM); call included; weekend coverage required.Unit Details:Beds:L&D: 6Postpartum: 11Gyn/Pedi/MS Overflow: 6C-Section OR Suite: 1Triage Beds: 3Births: Approximately 65-70 births per month, totaling 775-800 annually.Patient Population: High-risk patients (high BMI, hypertension, hemorrhage, preeclampsia).Required Certifications:Must Have:BLS (Basic Life Support)NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)Additional Responsibilities: RNs required to titrate drips and may float to mother-baby/postpartum.Staffing and Support:Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge nurses ideally do not take an assignment.In-House Support: OB/CNM and anesthesia available 24/7; neonatologist on-call.Equipment: RT equipment available; RNs are responsible for reading strips with CNM and OB physician.About Nationwide Therapy Group
